MISSIN MY BESTIE

My best friend moved to Charlotte close to 2 years ago. There are many reasons I miss her on a daily basis but most of all I miss being able to see her beautiful face at the drop of a hat. Right up there with that of course is the fact that I miss my gorgeous god-daughter and my bestie's hubby. We love you all and miss you tons, daily. (Warning, some of these pictures aren't the best but they d0 show the love!)

UVA vs. UNC game with the hubbies. (UVA lost, big shocker) And... we didn't pay attention to which parking lot we parked in so we got off of the shuttle in the wrong place. It took us a while but obviously we found our car. Ha!

SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON...

We decorated for the holidays the first weekend of December so we could be ready for Richter's birthday party. His Fisher Price nativity scene sat on this shelf for a couple of weeks before he even noticed it. It was only about a week before Christmas before he did. It was all she wrote from there. Baby Jesus and what I liked to call Angel Mommy were always the first to be "chucked" from the shelf.

DH came home to R and I snoozing after a long afternoon of shopping. We were exhausted.

Richter went to bed and it was time for Santa. Boy oh boy did he put lots of presents under the tree or what??

I know Richter doesn't get it quite yet but DH and I had a ton of fun getting everything ready for the big day. Although it wasn't actually his first Christmas, he was only 9 days old last year. And to think next year will be even more exciting.

The little munchkin was obviously a good little boy in 2010 because he got lots of presents, and this was just at home.

A couple of days after Christmas, sleepy Richter was watching Yo Gabba Gabba and getting very comfy in the chair Santa brought.

I will have a 13 month old baby boy in 3 days. That is just crazy talk.

CHILLIN IN 2011

This just about sums up our approach to 2011. Chill, laid back and trying not to stress too much. (ha!) Or should I say this has been my approach to my blog in 2011. yikes! I finally edited my holiday pictures (fixed red eyes) so I can work on a Christmas blog.
This chair was a gift from Santa. I was in the kitchen and went to check on Richter because he was quiet and this is what I found when I rounded the corner. Looks pretty comfy huh?
