WHERE DO I BEGIN???

I know it has been sooo long. Things are busy at the Harris house and by the time Richter goes to bed at night I AM POOPED. He is such an active little guy and we have fun playing every waking minute. I am amazed daily by his vocabulary, his intelligence, his curiosity, etc. etc. Our pediatrician told us that he speaks at a 2 year old level (and that was 2 months ago). He is such a smart baby. You can just see the thoughts going through his mind about what his next move is going to be. Crazy!
We have been going to the pool a lot this summer (we have 4 that we frequent) but some days we just stay home and play in his blow-up pool in the yard. Richter spends just as much time out of the pool as he does in. Filling his bucket and dumping water on the sidewalk is so much fun...




Finger painting 101



Richter loves to use his stool as a "snack table". Once I have his snack ready he walks over, points to the top and says "right here". He is a man who knows what he wants and where he wants it. (Lord help us) Please also take note of the one Frankenstein sock he has on in this picture. He had Meemaw put it on him one day and wore it for about 6 hours. Silly boy.

Richter calls sunglasses - Pee Pa Pas. Not real sure where that came from but he has stuck with it. He loves his pee pa pas. Obviously he put them on himself.

Maria and family came to VA for the 4th of July. Mom got the kids all something a little festive to help celebrate. Here is Carter with her shades on.
