WE'RE ALIVE!

There is so much to catch up on I don't know where to begin. Let's see...Richter has been growing so much this last month. He is developing his own little personality and becoming a little person more and more. He is so much fun to be around and interact with. His Easter outfit just about fits. I put it on him last month and we went outside and took a few pictures. We celebrated the 4th of July all weekend. Saturday afternoon Tate and Amy invited us to come hang out with them at Smith Mt. Lake. We had so much fun. Richter enjoyed his first boat ride. He was truly an angel all day. Tate and Amy were really impressed. We were told that we could watch the fireworks from their dock but...not so much. We could HEAR them but not see them at all. It was still a great day and a lot of fun.

Cool like Daddy with the shades on!!
FINALLY A NAP! He fought it all day but the fun and sun caught up to our little guy.

On Sunday, DH played a traditional round of golf with his family, so Richter and I went to Mom and Daddy's to hang by the pool for a little bit. Meemaw got Richter this cute 4th of July outfit.
Later that day we had dinner with DH's family. It was so nice out, we grilled and ate outside. It was a lot of fun. Afterwards we went to the club to watch the fireworks. Richter gets startled very easily (cries/screams when someone sneezes or even talks loudly) but the BANG of the fireworks didn't seem to bother him a bit. He just sat back and enjoyed the show.
Waiting patiently. (I guess I should have put this picture before the one of the firework huh?)
Our attempt at a self photo. (awww, look at my party of three)

On Monday, went celebrated the holiday one last time at Mom and Daddy's. Cissa, Ed and Penn stopped by on their way home from their celebration at Bugg's Island. Another day of fun in the sun and cooking out.

Hillbilly baby alert. Hanging out in just a diaper.

Our friend Reese is 10 and played on the All Star baseball team. We enjoyed going to his games and cheering them on. Believe it or not they were pretty intense to be 10 year olds. Richter enjoyed the games also. Another friend of ours, Trey, celebrated his birthday also. He and Laurie invited us all out to the farm for a little party. The kids had just as much fun as the adults did.
The birthday boy...
Yes, again my baby is hanging out in a diaper. It was so hot he was not happy until I took his clothes off. Don't worry, it won't become a habit.
