Yes, I'm finally taking a minute to get caught up here! We got up early and went to the market which we do most Saturdays. Richter is napping and I finally get to sit in front of the computer. We have been busy around here lately but now I am officially on the 3 week countdown til Hilton Head. Yippee! I know this is slightly late but Richter turned 7 months old on July 14. Our picture sessions aren't as easy as they used to be so we do the best we can.

I love that, after he tosses everything aside he's looking like, "hey, what happened?"

This picture is from several weeks ago. We were practicing crawling and he was pooped.

Little hammy face!! The little guy can pull himself up in his crib now. This crib was his great great grandma's so obviously it is very antique. Unfortunately the mattress doesn't lower any so we have had to move him out of the crib this week to his pack n' play until we get a new crib next week. (waiting for a sale to start 8/31) We are very sad about this.
On August 14 Richter turned 8 months old. DH attempted to help with the photos this month but it still wasn't easy. B-U-S-Y!!!

Kara, Ronnie and Haydon were also here that weekend. Always so much fun when they're around. Haydon
looooves "baby Richter". Did I mention we are so excited about Hilton Head???

Please take note of the cute
froggy slippers. I love them, DH...not so much!

Richter is getting so big and doing more and more every day. His personality is starting to develop and it is so amazing to be a part of it all. We feel so blessed to have such a miracle! Here are just a few things he is doing now.
He can put his pacifier in his mouth by himself. It is so cute to watch him look at it and line it up just right.
He is crawling all over the place. No stopping him now. YIKES! Unfortunately he is not a big fan of playing in his pack n' play and his exersaucer doesn't hold his attention like it used to so my showers aren't quite as long as they used to be.
He says mamamamama all of the time.
Richter Ewing Harris is a HAM! He loves all attention on him and he hams it up! He scrunches up his face and laughs. It is so cute.
He can feed himself finger foods. He loves Puffs, Lil Crunchers, cheese and bananas. We have given him some big people food and he loves it. The only thing I've found that he just won't eat are peas.
He has the sippy cup mastered.
He gives kisses. To people, toys and his froggy. Too cute! He also waves hi and bye bye about 75% of the time.
Richter loves being in the water. Baths and especially the pool. I can't wait to see how he likes the ocean. He didn't mind it when we went in May, but things are much different now.
I would say his favorite show is Jack's Big Music Show! He goes nuts over it. He also likes Yo Gabba Gabba!
DH and I have enjoyed every minute we have had with Richter. I look forward to the adventures we have ahead of us!
