EASTER

We had such a fun Easter. Richter hunted for eggs at 4 different egg hunts. We had so much candy in the house I had to send some to work with DH to get rid of it.The Easter Bunny hid Richter's basket under a table we have inside of the door. It didn't take long for the little stinker to find it. It was filled with so many goodies and he was so excited. He got lots of gardening tools to help us in the yard.

DH got a personalized dark chocolate bunny and Richter got a personalized chocolate egg filled with peanut butter. I took the two and made chocolate ice cream with peanut butter chunks. YUM! DH also got a gift certificate from his favorite parlor for a shave and a haircut. (which he is finally using tomorrow and so excited about)

I am the lucky girl who got these lovely apple paintings. We have a very talented friend who left her very nice, high paying job early this year to be home more with her new baby girl. She has started a marketing business with a friend and also started selling her artwork.

This cute little bug bag is a garden bag that Richter got from the Easter Bunny at Nina (what he calls my mom instead of Nana) and Papa's the day before. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from that hunt. This was at our house Easter morning.

Then we headed over to CC's house for a hunt with lots of our friends. Richter pretty much had his own area to get eggs since he was the youngest. He scored big time.

CC and all of the kids. Thanks CC!

Then we ended the day at Meemaw and Papa's for another hunt and dinner with the family. Richter got a big basket there also.

Richter with his cousins Danielle, Julian and Freddie! I love this picture.

The other thing that happened at Easter was removing all pap paps from the house but one. We told Richter that the Easter Bunny had to take them to the little babies that really need them. Not sure that really affected him because he still has the one so why does he need more?? We will fight the battle of getting rid of them all together in the next few months. eeek
