Wednesday morning Richter woke up with a huge red spot under his left eye. I thought he just slept on it funny and that it would go away. I took this picture sometime in the afternoon and as you can see it was still there. We started to get worried so I called his doctor. When I called it had faded a little so we made an appointment for later that afternoon. She said if it continued to fade to cancel it but come in if not. 
(love his big toe on his right foot sticking straight up and the others curled)About an hour before his appointment the spot was almost completely gone so we ended up cancelling. By Thursday morning it was gone and we were back to normal. I'm still not sure what it was, maybe a bite of some kind. I sure didn't like it though.
Last week felt like the first "normal" week in our new house. We had our first meal the other night. I made shrimp fried rice. The recipe came from one of my favorite blogs Annie's Eats. It is so yummy and so easy to make that it has become one of our go to dinners.
DH cheffed up quesadillas Wednesday night and they were so tasty! He has mastered them. I should have gotten a picture of them also. Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone.
